Let's be Instafriends!*

I caved. This week I finally created an Instagram account! If I'm honest with you though, I was very hesitant up until now to join. I thought great, just one more social media site to keep up with. But after a bit of brain thinking, I weighed up the pro's - that being I take a lot of pictures, but I never share them because I don't want to be that person who clogs up everyone's Facebook and / or Twitter. You know the person; we all have one in our feed. Whereas with Instagram, alls it is is pictures. So that's kind of the point.

Pour l'exemple, here's my most recent Instapic {is that what you young people call them?} from yesterday on my way home after work. Simply titled 'me and Mozart' ...

... Have I lured you in yet? I'll be blogging more on Mozzy soon, so keep your eyes peeled. To get the sneak on more of my adventures, you can follow me on Instagram here! And more importantly, are you on it? And can you recommend the best people to follow? I'm super new and don't really know the rules, so please help a sister out. Let's get weird together.

xx A

* Please excuse the thick layer of cheese on that one. I couldn't help myself.

    1. I know how you feel, John. It took me forever to jump on the wagon.

I was worried about the same thing, but no! You can take pictures through the app if you like, but I prefer to take pics with my phone, and then you can opt through Instagram to upload a picture via your phones gallery. Simples.

Hope to creep you soon on it ;)

  2. You've just spurred me on to create an account - I've been considering it for a while (even though I don't quite get what it is!) You are the first person I'm following... but now I can't think of any pictures to put on there! (Also a bit worried about getting as hooked as I am to Pinterest... I get nothing done!) xx

    1. Oh, oh! I only just signed up on Monday, so we can be completely clueless together! The way I look at Instagram, it's like that song from the Sound of Music - these are a few of my favourite things.

There are worse things to be hooked on. Or, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

    2. Yeah, seems like a good place to upload any random thing that takes your fancy!
Just remembered, I had a dream about you last night!!!! How creepy and alarming for you! Can't remember what happened in it, but think there might have been tea in fancy teacups involved... how strange.
Although, you do seem to have become a part of our lives - the Lumberjack said over dinner the other day "do you think Hydrangea Girl might know more about when the new Ikea catalogue comes out? She likes Ikea stuff doesn't she?" Haha - made me laugh!

    3. Hahaha, that is the cutest, Maria! I often talk to hubby over dinner about all my different internet friends, and I talk about my crafty internet friend Maria to him regularly! It's so crazy how blogging has connected me to so many creative people, who come up in conversation quite regularly. And make me sound like a stalker. God bless the internet ;)

Also, I love that I'm now haunting your dreams, Maria. Mission accomplished. And for the record, I unfortunately don't know when the new IKEA catalogue is due. For shame.

  3. Oooh, super excited about Mozart!
I will be stalking your blog on a daily, hourly, minutely... okay it just got silly with 'minutely'... basis.

    1. Oh man ... I best hurry up then. Poor old Mozart might be a bit traumatized by the time I'm finished with him though. Soon, my precious. Soon.
